Sara De Bondt

About

Sara De Bondt is a graphic designer, educator, and researcher. 

In 2008, she co-founded the publishing house Occasional Papers with Antony Hudek and has since edited four of its titles. Her most recent book, Off the Grid: Histories of Belgian graphic design, was published in 2022, following the eponymous exhibition she curated for Design Museum Gent (2019–20).

She teaches at ECAL in Lausanne and KASK School of Arts in Ghent and previously at Central Saint Martins and Royal College of Art. Her PhD at Ghent University / KASK School of Arts is nearing completion. De Bondt has been a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale since 2017. 

Current clients include: Book Works, Bozar, Lucy Skaer, Museo Jumex, Melissa Gordon, The Showroom, Triënnale Brugge and Wellcome Collection.
